As a Registered Psychologist, I help individuals understand and appreciate their strengths and their personal wisdom in a confidential, accepting environment. Together, we establish personal goals that will promote healing and growth and that will enhance your relationship with yourself and with others.
Not all people who come to therapy have symptoms that are a concern. Some come into therapy in order to have a safe place to process a life event such as death or divorce, illness, or retirement. Regardless of your concerns, therapy is a process that may help you find greater balance in your life, helping you feel more alive and authentic. In developing different coping strategies and resolving past and present issues, people often find new meanings and new personal narratives that can better support them in their life journey.
I work with the following issues:
- Eating Disorders
- Eating and Body Image Issues
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Couples Therapy
- Female Midlife Transitions
- Loss and Grief
- Childhood Sexual Abuse
- Parenting
- Stress Management and Burnout
I have a special interest in and several years of experience working with Eating Disorders/Eating and Body Image Issues with individuals of all ages.
